What am I up to? (2016.10.05)

• And John Baez had need of a browser based animation to illustrate a concept that relates
to split octonions and spinors. He asked me to do it. So I finally decided it was time to use
WebGL (with three.js). This is what I came up with:
Just a note: I worked happily for Fidelity for over 9 years. I was hired to be
a wizard who could use maths and code. Eventually their need for wizardry of my
sort diminished, Flash died, HTML5 wouldn't work in IEk, k < 10, and for everything
else templates were developed. All good stuff, but it became paint by numbers,
and everyone realized I didn't fit in that world. Parting was amicable (the best
company you can possibly have a 401k with), but it feels good doing something
again that is creative and compelling.
Oh, and yesterday I finished Witcher 3 on my PS4. I am in awe that this technology exists.
